Elite: Dangerous - Patches, Updates !

Beitrag von big-zeppelin »

Hier aus dem Elite: D. - Forum, Patchnotes zu 1.01:
Gamma 1.01 is on its way (6PM GMT), with fixes to some of the more pressing issues. Hope you're enjoying playing the Gamma as much as we are (when we get home of course).

Here's the full change log. Enjoy.

- Don't crash when we receive a LoginSuperceded event on login
- Prevent the game from crashing if the basic scan object doesn't exist, if a web request fails
- Prevent crash when cap ship launching fighters, but the fighter is already dead
- Bad system meta data causing disconnect on jumps
- Fix assert when entering Neptune’s ring
- Prevent weapon stream objects crashing when fired from dead ships
- Fix for faction ranks doubling their expected rank in the status panel
- When network startup fails, provide a clean path in final version that present a message box and exits the app cleanly
- Append local machine name to port mapping string in upnp so we don't clean up other people's port mappings on a shared router
- Upnp now uses an infinite lease by default; it's possible to set a finite lease in appconfig if required
- Remove some rare goods from AI load outs
- Ensure that the faction data gatherers for system map are only entered if their preconditions are true
- Fix trading badge not updating on rank increase
- Travel Tutorial now fixed with the Hyperspace binding change
- Fix broken environment map in some stations
- Send telemetry about interdiction
- Cap ship guns should no longer be able to kill other guns (and modules) on the same ship
- Fix some things spamming the message log in multiplayer
- The occurrences of Cox have been renamed to Pippin
- Explorer is now Trail Blazer (Ranks)
- Disallow nebulae from location targets for hyperspace

There are some server-side updates too:

- After strong demand from Commanders, The Revolutionary Party of Cosi are delighted to announce that Zorgon Peterson have agreed to supply the shipyard at Arrhenius Hub with their popular Hauler spacecraft.
- Fixed issue with the launcher not allowing some Gamma eligible players into the game.
- GalNet system news will now correctly show the 5 highest bounties.
- Removed the ability to rename a commander from the support system. This is now done entirely in-game.
- Fixes for duplicate commander names.
- Fixed various starting locations from the commander starter packs.
- Allow commanders to explore more procedurally generated star systems.
- Many minor bug fixes and performance improvements.

Bei einigen Spielern scheint es nach'm updaten auf Gamma 1.01; im Elite: D.- Forum gelesen;
Probleme beim Einloggen gegeben zu haben. :gruebel:

Bei X-TC u. AP aber nich, da konnte man ganz abseits jeglichem Schiffsverkehr sein :plemplem: ;
knallt Dir doch 'ne bescheuertes KI ins eigene Schiff rein :schimpf: ,
u. man büßt unverschuldet 'nen Rangverlust mit ein. :kopfklatsch:

Hier neues zu Gamma 1.02:
Default Gamma 1.02 incoming

Hello everyone,

As the title suggests Gamma 1.02 is on its way soon. The servers will be down for at least an hour from 2.30PM GMT, after that we'll reopen space and let you loose again!

The full change log is below:

- Fix kinematic soft lock loading game
- Fix for softlock on shutdown regarding fog volumes
- Fix possible memory leak in the system map
- Add in some missing metadata from populated authored systems far outside the usual generation range
- Missing backer system ‘Pepper’ added
- Correct the station ID for the station in 17 Draconis
- Deeper telemetry to diagnose what/why we're getting stuck entering the game in certain circumstances
- When the server has too many stellar forge request, bounce it back so the game can try a different server
- Fix for lighting not appearing in the right eye on stereoscopic modes
- Handle the case where directional lights are removed while processing the view culling data
- Improve MTU discovery handshake
- Ensure location s are not sent if they are no longer valid
- Improve upnp clean up code
- Provide feedback telemetry when system data is received from the server which is either internally inconsistent, or inconsistent with the game's own data
- Additional telemetry to help get to the bottom of why some players get stuck entering the game.

(EDIT) Server side change log:

- Saud Kruger’s introductory discount on the newly released Orca has proved incredibly successful. Shipyard dealers report that the heavy discounts have now expired and the ship has returned to its normal pricing across the Galaxy.
- Stop advertising illegal commodities in the galaxy map trade routes and in the commodities market screen.
- Never advertise illegal commodities for export from a station on the system map and only advertise them for import when there is likely to be a black market available to purchase them
- The strange interference affecting Space Station Services and Frameshift Drives in some areas of space has finally subsided. Commanders should experience much less disruption when flying to the following systems:
Fomalhaut, LHS 450, Exioce, 17 Draconis, Aditi, BD+22 4939, Canopus, Exphiay, Fehu, LTT 9846, Pepper, Quince.
- After an upgrade from Universal Cartographics' licensing sub-division, the AI traders' navigation computers now let them satisfy supply and demand for commodity markets from all stations, not just those that control the starsystem.

- Paradiso Outpost now uses proper prototype
- Separate out Scenario visibility from the Stellarforge hierarchy, scenarios are now visible at a (tweakable) range of 1000LS regardless of other issues

- Game now supports borderless windowed. Using Alt-Enter to switch to windowed and full-screen will stop you being in borderless window mode
- System map/Oculus Rift: When calculating the range of distances for the camera, take into account the playspace, since the user can always stand up and move forward. This takes the camera even further away by default, but makes sure we won't get any clipping with stars when using Oculus Rift

- Added support for multiple of the same device being connected
- Better fitting for tabs with long names
- Slowed down the duration of the sequence explosions

- Stats panel refreshes when you look at it and shows a update timer
- Consistency pass on menu wrapping - and improved the behaviour of any wrapping currently implemented (it will no longer endlessly spin around if you hold the button down - you need to release, then press the button again to engage another 'loop')
- Planet mapping of Titan
- Gas giant overrides for Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Some work needs doing to find out why their atmospheres are so bright in the system map.
- Fix for incorrect atmosphere colour on gas giants
- Add in a "destroyed" message as well as a "failure" message on hatch breakers
- Using the proportion of drop out as the scale for the alpha of the rings

- In ShipPurchase, the button to bring up purchase options should always be available, even if no individual option are available
- Improve the galaxy map/background. Shader now allows us to fade out the core near the glow preventing the world whiting out, map now looks fluffier and more real. Current BG brightness/look is paintained in the default playspace but will improve further out
- In asteroid fields also spawn some pirates and police (as well as miners), composition based on security level of the system
- Fix issue with missions not marking haulage as stolen correctly
- AI are dropping out too close to stars, unable to drop out at their wakes fixed

- Fixes for station rotation can sometimes be twitchy, especially in busy stations
- Allow exiting game from new commander screen
- Fixes for Lave and Prism systems
- Fix an issue with entering the tutorials then going into a multiplayer game causing the stellarforge time to go out of sync between clients
- When an AI starts interdicting a target, all other AI that were trying to catch up go back to patrolling. If the interdicting AI is unsuccessful, require a cooldown (exposed in ShipBase.prototype, default 10s) before the other AI are allowed to start trying to catch up to interdict
- Clamped the radius of the nebulas to a min size. The Tesseract is now gone
- Text overlapped in the "Mass" info section of outfitting when browsing thrusters fixed
- fix creeping gui dash line on the GUI gauges panel
- After moving 100km away from Orbis and Ocellus stations, pieces start to detatch and then remain relative to the player fixed
- Timed out or failed missions appear now in red in the transactions panel

Der Dank gilt aber auch vielen anderen;
z.B. denen die Patchnotes, Beiträge aus anderen Foren u. Newsletter erschaffen haben;
:yeah:

Dies wird wohl nun auch auf Elite: Dangerous zutreffen;
da Rebirth mir nich gefällt u. Star Citizen nich so mein Ding is;
also bleibt dafür genug Zeit ! :mrcool:

Naja, abzüglich d. Zeit halt die mein Schiffs-Großmodellbau-Projekt benötigt ! :hey:
